Cleaning and Catering in a Private Hospital
In this case, we improved the operational efficiency of the catering and cleaning of a private hospital, making a total saving of over £700k per annum.
The catering and cleaning were operated by full-time staff employed by the hospital. We needed to review the cost of these services. The current system had been in place for five years and had not been reviewed since both services were established. In addition, standards had dropped, issues were appearing, and the costs for both areas had increased despite flat service levels.
